Premier League outfit Sunderland hopes to rain on Wrexham’s parade and send the Welsh side back to the UK on a low note as the Dragons play their final pre-season fixture at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, on Sunday. Phil Parkinson’s side have already impressed against top-flight opposition this summer and boast friendly wins over both Manchester United and Leeds United. However, Ryan Reynolds’ soccer project unfortunately saw its undefeated streak in the United States come to an end following a loss to Liverpool, who also just so happen to boast a win over the Black Cats already this summer.

Wrexham’s biggest addition of the summer is also a right-back after recruiting Danny Imray from Crystal Palace, and he could be in the picture to make his bow for the club this weekend.
