He is the back-to-back champion and a four-time champion in this event. Pogacar can join Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault, and Miguel Indurain as the only five-time champions of the Tour de France. Heading into Stage 20, Pogacar carries a seven-minute, 11-second advantage over the rest of the field. Remco Evenepoel from Belgium is in second place.
