X Games New Orleans 2026 kicks off on Friday to start an action-packed weekend where the league will crown its first-ever team-based champion.
The Summer Season comes to an end in the MoonPay X Games League, which will crown an inaugural championship starting on Friday night. This 2026 Championship will run between July 24-26 on ESPN and ABC from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA, home of the NFL’s New Orleans Saints. This event will bring together nearly 100 of the best extreme athletes in skateboarding, BMX, and Moto X. There will be 20 events in this X Games weekend with the chance at individual medals, but the twist in this inaugural championship is that there are four inaugural X Games Clubs. This includes Los Angeles, New York, Sao Paulo, and Tokyo, which will battle it out for the first-ever league championship. Some of the biggest names from this weekend will include skateboarders Tom Schaar, Sky Brown, Chloe Covell, BMXers Ryan Williams, Kevin Peraza, and Rob Adelberg of Moto X. Tonight’s matchups will start over on ESPNews at 8 p.m. ET with the Scooter Park Best Trick. The broadcast will then head to ESPN at 9 p.m. ET with the Women’s Skateboard Vert, followed by the Men’s Skateboard Street Best Trick and a re-air of the Moto X Best Whip. This is just the beginning of an exciting three-day weekend from X Games New Orleans.
