The Angels will counter with Grayson Rodriguez, who is 3-3 but has an eye-watering 8.23 ERA in 35 innings.

The Angels could not get on the board in their finale against the Cardinals on Thursday. LA couldn’t solve Hunter Dobbins, who gave up six hits over six scoreless innings to get the win. JJ Wetherholt hit a homer in the sixth, and that was enough to secure the victory, with the Angels only accumulating three hits on the day. The Wetherholt homer was the only mistake for Reid Detmers of the Angels, who was saddled with the loss despite going 5.1 innings while only giving up two hits and striking out six.
