Natasha Cloud leads the Chicago Sky against her former team in the Phoenix Mercury for the final time this season on Monday.
The Phoenix Mercury (11-19) made a massive move at the trade deadline, acquiring All-Star Kelsey Plum from the Los Angeles Sparks. They traded away second-year guard Monique Akoa Makani along with a 2027 first round pick and a 2028 second round pick. Plum is questionable to make her debut here against the Chicago Sky (11-18) on the road. Chicago has won back-to-back games for just the fourth time this season. Phoenix had won a season-high three straight games before falling to the New York Liberty at home. Both teams are on the outside looking into the playoffs if the season ended today.

In the last meeting between the teams, Chicago came away with a 77-66 win on the road. Rookie Sydney Taylor led the way with 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Taylor is coming off a 29-point explosion, including the game-winning three-pointer with less than a second to go against the Las Vegas Aces.
Phoenix was led by Kahleah Copper with 25 points on 4-of-10 shooting from three. DeWanna Bonner and Alyssa Thomas combined for 23 points, 14 rebounds and five assists in the loss.
