The Rays are now 59-43 overall with an outstanding 35-15 record at Tropicana Field this season. Cleveland, on the other hand, is trying to keep pace with the White Sox in the AL Central race. The Guardians are 1.5 games back of Chicago with a 54-50 overall record. The Rays will send lefty Shane McClanahan to the mound against Guardians left-hander Joey Cantillo in the series opener.
